1938, facing an incredible outburst of antisemitism and in the light of the tragedy experienced by the masses of all those persecuted by the Nazi regime, 32 nations met in Evian-Les-Bains for an international conference on refugees.
This conference raised a question that until then had been off-limits in the international community: how to intervene in nations’ decisions regarding their immigration policies?
This film will help us discover the mysteries of international diplomacy, its stakes and strengths as well as its weaknesses.
